Thread: Jetta Wagon Owners Unite!!!!!!!!!

  1. 04-26-2004 08:08 PM #1
    Sup everyone,

"I am trying get in touch with some of the other wagon owners out there.
I want to pool some resources. Maybe lend each other a hand."

Its been 200 pages later and still going strong! Thanks to all the wagon owners for all of the support. Its a thread like this that proves there should be a wagon specific forum.

I figured after almost 3years or so I should come back to the post that started it all. and post up my thanks. Here to the longest thread on the VWVortex, and the best damn wagon thread evar!

    Long live the wagons!!!

Oh yea, here is the mega super awesome gallery for wagon lovers.
    http://s178.photobucket.com/al...stry/

Thanks to 1.8TurboWagon for the wagon picture content.

    check the search...

as for tails- i found the golf variant ocean tails a few months back- some people have ordered them... some other folks have used the regular golf variant tails as well. there are also threads on the spoiler and rear votex valence for the wagon (including part numbers). there is info out there- you just need to search.

It would be cool get a list of wagon owners who are into the modding/diy thing, maybe do something like that Golf 1.8T registry...

    Here's to all Volkswagon drivers

I'm in...I've been trying to keep track of all the VR6 Wagons I see for sale or otherwise. Thought it might be neat to do a sort of registry since they seem to be pretty rare birds. Here's mine...she's stock as a clock with only 5,600 clicks on the odometer, I know she's a stout sitter and could stand to have a bunch of mods thrown at her, but for now, I dig her just the way she came.

Count me in. Doing a front end swap tomorrow! I've been looking for a rear bumper that DOES NOT stick out like a ghetto booty!

yep... saw a galactic blue VR6 wagon driving south on I-93 near Manchester, NH...

my wife drives a baltic green, we'd be down for a front end swap but that is a Jetta only color... the whole idea of it being a lease keeps a few mods away for now...

ha ha speaking of wagons, i was at the dealer this morning and the manager told the salesman to fill this TDI with fuel. Soo he went to fill the tank with Fuel (brand new wagon TDI) and well he comes walking back in the show room after the Diesel fuel up smelling like diesel. The idiot spilt it all over his pants and shoes ...

Looks pretty good but your hood may need a little adjustment. It looks a little low at the top of the driver's side fender, and the gap is a bit wide at the driver's side headlight. Just being picky...they're rarely right from the factory. for having the nuggets to do the work yourself.

I'm in, only if we can beat people in like they do with gang members. Oh, I am the treasurer too.

I know...hopefully this weekend I'll adjust it. STILL WAITING FOR MY DAMN ANGEL EYES!

Count me in! Just picked mine up last Friday. Of course... going into the dealership for it's first problem this Friday! Brakes have a shimmy and a groan at the front from the brakes when coming to a quick stop. Hopefully this will be a once in a while time, not an every week thing. Other then that I LOVE my new Dub! Getting the windows tinted soon.

BTW, what year did the Jetta Wagon appear?
