well it look like my headlights are building some type of whitish yellowish film over the outside of the head light. does anyone have any good ideas on how to remove this? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the plastic (polycarbonate or Lexan) headlights, then apply plastic polish to clear it up. Available in most automotive places. Make sure you clean the surface first.

If that does not totally cure it I once saw a Mother's rep on TV start with Chrome Wheel Polish first then went to the plastic polish.
