Not a bad race, plenty of overtaking, good to see Kimi back on the podium & nice of Di Resta to keep in front of Alonso right at the end
and the 4th 4th for MW, who's now 3rd in the driver's championship![]()

At least finally one of my pre-season predictions (Kimi to be on podium) have come through. Haha

Also, I expect Britney will get a wrist-slap for trying to put Alonso & Hamilton off the track

Kimi being on the podium was as exciting for me as McLaren winning a race - I whipped out the Rexona and had me some fun !![]()

Hard to say. One reason could be that his car was better balanced while being heavy and as the weight came down it did not work as well. At the same time Vettel's car became faster. Also, Kimi was running prime tyres at the end of the race as oppose to option, which he's had earlier.

I suspect he was marginal on the number of laps he was expecting to get out of the tyres, so instead of pushing and ending up with screwed tyres 2 laps before the end, he settled for second.

What happened to Rosberg's stewards inquiry after Bahrain? I haven't seen any news on it... No action taken?

The stewards of the meeting met with the drivers and their representatives following the grand prix to discuss the clashes, but it was decided Rosberg's moves were legitimate.
Rosberg said he agreed with the decision, saying: "Of course there were the two incidents with Lewis and Fernando, which were both definitely good racing.
"I even had to go to the stewards for that and thankfully they judged that it was tough but okay so I didn't get a penalty for that."

The Webber to Ferrari rumours are starting again:
http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/we...eport/?v=2&s=1pr.30 (GMM) Mark Webber might have signed a pre-contractual agreement with Ferrari, one of Spain's leading F1 correspondents has revealed.
Raymond Blancafort, writing for El Mundo Deportivo, referred to widespread speculation in the paddock about Sergio Perez's likely future alongside Fernando Alonso.
"There may be a pre-contract," he said, "but between Ferrari and Webber."

Why would webber do it? Other than maybe to test himself out against Alonso and the money. I guess there is the allure of being a Ferrari team driver.
#17075
yeah and he wont have to keep doing publicity for that sh*tbox porsche he got a deal on.

They don't know people in Porsche, but I do!Seriously though, I didn't say he is not getting paid for doing those promotional events and videos. But he bought that GT2 RS on his own accord. Walked into a Porsche dealership himself and said he wants to buy one. A few others have also bought one like Vettel, Button, Rossi, Hamilton.

Wayne's inside source:
"Sorry Wayne, can't do you a discount. Can't even do one for Mark Webber. But I'll tell you what, you can have the Porsche embossed headrest for half price: $5,000. How's that?"
"Sounds like a good deal to me!"![]()
