My buddy Matt saw this roll into the gas station today and had to take pics. When you hear what sounds like a race prepped Camaro roll into a gas station and turn around to see this... you just have to take pics...

Damn it, he beat me to it! Might as well put that flex fan in the trunk - it's so far away from the rad it will never pull any air through it. Otherwise, pretty rad!

Short block=block w/ bottom end, no heads. I'm assuming you mean small block. Man this guy stole my idea. My plan if I ever got rich was to build a tube chassis with 4motion and a Ford 302 from a 5.0 Mustang, and throw a MK2 body on it. Dammit.

Hey Rich you know there is a Rabbit in PA with a 305 in it .
This is rediculous throwing small blocks in vw's talk about sleepers.

There is that Rabbit with the Tubbed out rear and small fronts that's still FWD somewhere around here too LOL. he used to go to all the carshows. Did that guy actually convert it to V8 and RWD or is it a different car.

I've seen a couple V8 aircooleds. that is madness right there, as they run a ten on about 260 horses

Front is four lug and the rear is five (just an observation)... I wonder if he had to narrow the rear axle himself of if you can buy them like that... And does it run on leaf springs now (in the back)? Tube frame center with the floorpan cut out? Power steering? Soo many questions..

thats kinda depressing. smallblock and vw should never be put together

"Shadetree Redneck Muscle Car Style" I think that's even better than "Rat Styles."

At the local cruise nights there's a tubbed out Reliant with some stupid powerful Mopar block under what's left of the hood.

I wanna see someone do that to a Yugo!

Stuff like this actually blows my mind. All the work that had to go into it... totally cool. I wish they'd give it a normal paint job, though. Nothing flashy. I think tan would be a good sleeper color.
