So it looks like the toyotas chase the VW, and mustangs chase the toyotas? How big of track is that?

  4. 02-28-2007 01:19 PM #144
I think that you have that car dialed in on that track so good to see, what kind of motor is in that?

  9. 04-19-2007 09:36 AM #149
    stock 8v.

My budie has the black gulf that isnt full of dents also in my galery on putfile. His is a 16v.

I prefer the good ole 8v tho, simple and easy.

    hey Marky

i was at Slinger on Sunday and looked for you but i guess you did not run. i couldn't bring the Rocco as it was too lite for the rules there, so i drove my buddy's Ford ZX2. we finished 1st and 2nd.

what is the name of the VW shop that is on the hood of the Jetta and rabbit that run there? i'd like to call the guy about some transmission stuff.

great track, i just wish it wasn't 2-1/2 hours away.

    Craig

Took it to the track saturday for the test and tune day. Had a few small problems but they should be fixed up by the first race this weekend. I'll post another pic after the paint is done.

OK I have a few questions as to how to hook up my switch panel I got for my race car.It has a starter button for the starter,a toggle switch with a light for the ignition;and 2 more toggle switches with lights for the fuel pump & rad. cooling fan.I'm not sure what wire goes to what for the starter button & ignition toggle.I have my bentley ready,so if you can tell me what goes where & with what color wire I'm all set.The switch panel came loaded with wire so I won't need to buy any. Thanks in advance!
    Ken
p.s. I also bought a 2 gauge panel of water temp. & oil pressure with warning lights(pre-wired & lighted) & a memory recall tach with shift light.I will need some help to hook that stuff up too;I was never very good with electrical stuff
    Thanks again!

you'll have better luck posting in the road racing/autocross or one of the tech forums. more people read those forums.
