I want to get mirror tint on my car... it's silver... I was thinking of 25 - 30 %.... but when i say mirror i don't want the extreme mirror, just mirror effect, like on the older Lexus RX's... the ones that have a hue of yellow or green..... know what i mean....

      anyways, any pics would help...

      like this....

I have the same stuff as diive4sho on my golf. It works really well, especially in FL. When you walk up on it it is like looking into a mirror but at some distance you can make out the shadows of the seats / person inside.

      I give it

what brand of tint is that? Is it Lumar or 3M...? I don't want to get stuff that bubbles and turns a different colour on me...

i did it three years ago a couple weeks after i got my car. i got it pre-cut off ebay for like 90 bills. took like 4 hours to put on and like 6 to take it off... it was mostly cool for pictures, then i went dark.

      1st tint:

      now 20%:

I have reflective all metallic tint, its 35% all around. I could have prolly gotten darker but didnt want the hassle. It looks really cool, kinda silverish at day but just like regular tint at night! The one I had before on my GTI was awsome, no idea what it was bought the car with it! I think it was 20% tho, it was 5% when I first bought it, hda two layers of tint on it!
I do work on cars, anything short of engine and transmission rebuilding can be done. welding, custom and aftermarket as well as regular repairs. IM me for details, shop is in WOodbridge.

^^^^very true...In my opinion true mirror tint looks like $hit....The olny reason I went with Quantum is that when people walk up to the car all they can see is themself and not what
I have inside and I think it goes well with my paint.
