    vwleadfoot speaks again.........

Found my rear bumper....thescirocco.com sold me the one right off his own car. Now all I need is the one peice of trim.

Am also looking for 16v control arms that are, or are near, perfect, a good set of Bilsteins, a four point lower stress bar, and maybe some 10 inch brake action....... Let me know of anyone has this stuff laying around.

Hopefully I'll be able to make the deadline.

nope no oil cooler, doesn't seem to terribly need it. It will keep plenty cool with the new german radiator I found.
Even had them make a new condensor for me.

The wheels are audi ronals off of a audi 4000s, they look good on the 8v body scirocco but the offset is a little shallow (42mm as opposed to 38 for the sebrings).

Thanks...thats the first positive comment I have ever had about my scirocco!!!

When I bought it I thought the ladies would gravitate torwards a baby blue scirocco with blue plaid seats that smelled like cat urine....but I guess I was wrong...

Now that I own a Scirocco again (had to sell my '81 for inspection reasons) I'd be down for a Scirocco gtg, especially if it includes a cruise. Oh and here's the '79 I just bought Sunday... was up here on the tex for a while. Neptuno, my advice to you if you want this to happen is just set a date and time, post it here and the .org list, then see who shows up.

I've got a mk1, 1980 to be exact. Not much to look at right now though, just picture a stock grey mk1, faded with a few dings / dents, partial red interior, and flintstone power. Once the rabbit is painted it will go under the knife..

I don't think he means he's cutting it up... it would be pretty hard to cut up a car with a knife

No way man, I traded a running driveable rabbit gti for the 'rocco. It's a little rough but the rust is very minimal, especially for a car that has been in this area all of it's life. It's going to be a long term project car

Where are the roccos? come to our garage, the place Sciroccos come to die...two have even met the blade of the Almighty Wacker Saw in the past year...including mine, which people would KILL me if they saw the condition of it before I had enough....

There are currently 3 in various states of assembly/disassembly in the garage...we look like a marque specific chop shop....
