So this might be a dumb question but if I do an emissions delete with proper programming on my MK4 is the only way to pass emissions to go to an MVA that only does a visual check and does not sniff?

If so, I know Bel Air sniffs do any of the other MVA's around here visually check....only asking since I know a few of you have deleted emissions/have shaved bays and pass!

Same here, have not had a cat on my car for 7 years, apr program gets rid of the secondary o2 sensor code it would normally throw. Never had a problem, usually just reset my codes, drive about 40 miles and let the ecu adapt, then head right there.

you can also buy a $15 spacer to space the second O2 sensor out far enough to never throw a code without a tune. I gutted the cat and it worked great.
