Thread: Mk3 Single Chamber headlights to Dual Chamber headlight conversion

    1. 11-04-2004 04:28 PM #1
I was wondering how the people who have done this did it?

Did you buy the proper harness? Did you splice your wiring? Did you custom make a harness?

Any help, or especially HOWTO links on how to do this would be great.

Essentially I have Mk3 Hella Dual Rounds, but i have a golf CL w. OE Single chamber lights. I need to convert from 45Watt single to a 55watt dual

      Thanks

      how?

Directly above your rad, you will see a ROUND plug/adapter. Get a VR headlight harness and unscrew the CL harness, and plug in the VR one.

Total install time - 15 mins tops. No cutting, no splicing, nothing.

I have one, if you need it. I can do it for you if you like.

Get in touch with me Steve, I have done this 1,000 times....
