so back to the gtg, where does everyone want to meet?

i'm still leanin toward happy hour at spoons. $3.50 nachos and specials.

and on the "can't leave it alone front...i built an exhaust...definitely quieter than the stinger...haven't had it out to see what it sounds like on the street yet..

8.3:1~ would be perfect for a 16vT, might have to do something to the rods, maybe chryo them... sounds like another fun project i might have to take up since 24v's are still so damn expensive.

its right in between 8.5-8:1 on stock pistons

whats up with this whole "my car's faster" and "look I have blah at the wheels" Fast and Furious3 coming to fresno or something?

and i think people are just excited to see not only their own, but other peoples projects taking shape as well.

thats exactly what im talkin about. i been waiting for you to finish your car for a while now, i cant wait to race it. in fact i have been wanting all of us to go out to famosa and all run our cars. i still have lil things to work out, but i should be ready by 05, will you?

i guess there isnt enough interest to have a gtg, spoons is cool with me, but im sick of having 3 people gtgs

where are you putting the bov? cause i was thinking about possibly upgrading it, if you've made the piece already can it be easily modded to fit another bov?

yeah i'll order some straight pipe, how much do i need in length?

HAHAHA he's talking about the idle stab. screw. what did you end up doing with that? i was gonna try to use some gum but it wouilnt stick good and the intake manifold was a thousand degrees from trying to drive it like an r32

remember you had like a pen cap stuck in it or something and it fell out while i was driving it and it kept dieng lol. i think it fell out when i lifted the car off the ground crossing 41 at like 65mph. that was fun tho

HA HA yea i went to the lemoore junk yard and pocketed a few idle screws,.. no more marker/idle screw,. If u want to swap out bov's i still can,.. all i did was make the hole in the boost pipe and i started making the piece that the bov bolts on in mild steal instead of aluminum,. but yea if u want to get a different bov do it right away so i can get it on there,. I will mesure out how mutch str8 pipe i need tonight,. i am in town right now so i should be able to get that done tonight,.. CALL ME!!!

Hey fellas. Well, it's done. The jetta is now low! You know that phrase 'you ain't dubbin if you ain't rubbin'? Well, I'm dubbin. So that brings me to my question. Anybody had experience with rolling fenders? I'm in the middle of trying the baseball bat roll, but using dowel cuz I don't have a baseball bat. Seems like all that does is decompress the suspension. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I need to do more searches on the tex to find out? Your input would be appreciated!

You guys are meeting at the spoons at the mall in town or is there another spoons that I don't know about? Cuz I would think that the one at the mall would have NO parking right now!

  34. 12-15-2004 08:54 PM #174
hmm,. spoons,..... friday,... hmm cheep nachos,....,... BUT STILL TO YOUNG FOR ,..............damnit,.. o well,... i will be there. ....damn drinking age laws

    !

paul (luckyzeee) has a fender roller you can rent from him. he is usually back and forth la to fresno so you wont have to pay for shipping i used it on my mk2, thats why i can ride low with 5-lug

im already too low, fresnos roads suck i bottomed out the other day, luckily it wasnt my oil pan
