Hey everyone, I think it's been about 3 years since I've been on here. You could say I've been out of the loop for a while. About a week ago, my 07 Rabbit was totalled while parked outside my apartment. I have now replaced it with an 02 Golf TDI (finally!) but the throwout bearing is chattering quite a bit and I was wondering if anyone on here knows someone qualified and willing to put a new clutch in for me. Are the Hoover bros still around? Im open to suggestions, just trying to keep costs low. Also, I'll try to post some pics of the carnage.

My car was parked along the curb facing the stop sign visible in the fourth pic when this girl came across Monument (if you've been to richmond, you may have been by monument ave, a pretty well known, busy street that is 4 lanes split down the middle by a nice grass area) almost hitting a jogger while accelerating through a stop sign, then going around a car in the middle of the 4 lanes trying to turn, hopping over the curb and grass median to the right and accelerating across the other 2 lanes of traffic. She then hit the drivers side of my car and pushed it against the curb (you can see semi-circular marks against the curb where the wheels hit) and then into the tree which it pivoted around and she continued over the curb and came to rest between the building on the corner and a telephone pole. Surprisingly the only person that was injured was a pedestrian who was cut on her face from being sprayed with broken glass from my car. Had she been a few feet closer, she could have been hit or pinned. I was upstairs in my apt when it happened and gathered all of this from 2 witnesses
