yea someone put a GTI front on the jetta

Right now, I'm not stoked about the Jetta V. Someone change my mind with some tasteful photochops. Maybe some sweeter wheels, and a different color paint. Maybe a GTI-style front?

Just a change to a mild silver, lowered, with the rims enlarged - like a lot of OEM wheels, they could do with being a size or two larger

i dont think it looks like the S4 at all..the S4 is more boxy, and i think the S4 looks wayyyy better. and are those the wheels we've seen on that moded Golf V (the black one thats slammed)?

Ville Inspired. Votex kit, extended the hood a couple inches, lowered, added moldings (like VW should have) Put on the phaeton wheels. Tinted the turns in the mirrors. Debadged grill and modeled after the lower grill bars. Smoked headlights

There's no hope - Its done for. While the engine opps. get upgraded the asthetics go way down hill. Way too much outside engineering influence, looks like a mutt of 3 other cars out now.

This doesn't really count I guess. I changed the headlamps to modified versions of those on the concept C, (a little bit more square and Jettaish), changed the c pillar a bit and lowered the front bumper a hint.![]()

Quote, originally posted by tdi2vr6 » From the back, it look like a cross between a corolla and a 5-series BMW these were my exact first thoughts about the rear. i like it better than the jetta iv, to me it looks like it know has a full sedan length. definitely has potential.

I'm optimistic about the Jetta MKV. I can't really judge a car until I see it in person, which I believe is the same as many of you. After seeing some photoshops, I think we're all going to be pleased with the car...it definitely has potential. VW should have posted the first pictures in a different color other than silver. Makes the car look too "bland". Lets just hope and pray that VW hasn't butchered themselves with this car, and we can all end up having a lot of fun with it! Cheers.![]()

why is everything that VW is coming out with now, looks like a HONDA?????
#31
Yours almost looks a little like the pheaton.

I Think the square headlights look awesome, and give a true sense of the jetta. The round headlisghts I personally think are to friendly, and don't give that original jetta look. Also the new version of the jetta is starting to look a little to much like a japanese car not "truely" german styling.

There is something about all of the right angles and symmetry in the face that is appealing in this chop. I know everyone is tired of the German v. Japanese styling debates, but I think this chop does a good job of demonstrating a more German look. (Before you freak out and get your panties in a wad, understand that this is simply my opinion on aesthetics. I'm not arguing it is fact. Opinions will differ, obviously.)
