In car video from Sabine the driver of the Nurburgring Ring taxi:http://www.jwhubbers.nl/ring/joerund/legends.php
It's a good clip except for the inane nattering of the passenger.
The guy that overtakes the M5 on one wheel later died when his motor bike hit some oil.

There's a bunch of guys off an email list called "ringers" who have it as a syndicate car if they can't get their own car to the track on any particular weekend for whatever reason. No tours, but they are always happy to ltake a fellow "ringer" for a pax lap or ten

I just watched a documentary called "Too Fast to Race"... All about the history of Group B rally cars in the 70's and 80's, and I really enjoyed watching it!I just typed 'too fast to race' into the global search on easynews - it was 700mb.
You may find it elsewhere also, and if you do, GRAB IT!

Top Video that one. The in-car footage driving in the Audi is hot, as is Pikes Peak footage.

Fifth Gear COTY clip (Golf V GTI - 6mb)

Strangely enough, I searched "Ayrton Senna" and "Michael Schumacher" and both came up with nothing. Thought there might at least be 1 DVD on easynews?

I downloaded a Michael Schumacher documentary (made about 10 years ago) from easynews a month or so ago, it was interesting...
I have a friend who always manages to find these things, so I'll keep you updated here

I would say yes, if you ask nicely. He made a great effort to try and accommodate me when I was over there. A hell of a good guy.

That's because I didn't. I very nearly cut my time short in Switzerland to go back to the ring to do a few laps with him, but in the end it wasn't going to happen.
It wasn't for want of Keith's assistance though. I just wish I had got there a bit earlier. If only we hadn't spent the morning drinking beer and eating white sausages for breakfast.

That was a great review of the Mk V GTI. Is Stig and Jason Plato one and the same? I thought they weren't.But Tim, I reckon that the car to get will be the new R32. Based on this chassis, it should be a cracker. It won't look as nice as the Mk IV R32, but it should be a better car.

The stig is or was an ex-F! driver, Perry McCarthy

Maybe get a GTI (enough of a wait as it is) in the interim and THEN the new R32...?
I'm scared VW Aus will bring the GTI out here in 4 door DSG only.
