I used to, I went through them a while ago and downloaded as many of the car tests as I could find, but the street racing stuff was too variable. You'd spend a whole lot of time downloading them only to find that they were complete dross. But I agree, it's a good site.
The forum they had they going for a while was well dodgy though.
BTW, each to their own on the racing front. The way I look at it, don't take it on the track unless you are prepared to lose it. I just hope that if the car goes, I don't go with it. That Civic/WRX crash just keeps going through my mind.

You can use my racingflix subscription if you want. PM me and I'll give you the details.
And that Civic/WRX video are indeed one and the same. (same filename at least)

I find it funny that haunts you compared to the footage of the pair getting hit by a bus...then again it's the feeling of impending disaster.
About six months ago on a blat and I came in hot to an uphill right hander. The wheels just skidded as the surface was really bumpy and I just said **** as I scraped along a fence. Big drop the other side and the only crash I've had in the golf.
Saying that I spun it on a right hander, too quick and caught an outside edge before the back let go luckily I caught it and proceeded to head straight to a wooden post. I was looking at the post thinking "I'm gonna kick your arse" but I stopped just short
The only other moments that spring to mind are catching an inside wheel in a ralliart magna (in a straight line!) and the back coming round on me, first time I caught it the second I froze and just waited for the abs to pull me up.

Yea but that recce car would be insured (or at least it should be). Their fault for not wearing harnesses. Additionally, recce for Tarmac rallies in Aus is forbidden in your race car. You have to do it in a different car, at the speed limit. So that bus thing isn't going to happen to me, or any of my rallying friends. The Civic/WRX crash on the other hand...

Exactly. I can rationalise the bus crash away by saying that I don't drive like that on the road, but the Civic/WRX crash, I just can't understand what happened. I also don't fancy the driver's chances of surviving. At the very least he's been knocked unconscious.

Probably gave his head a good whack against the armco. Another reason to have a window net and HANS device.

Can someone clear this up: is there two clips or one? I have seen the one where the back steps in the wet out without warning, but I thought that was the Civic crash.
Can someone please quote both clips, sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

There's one clip only - I was incorrect in saying it was a WRX
