Looking great man. I have so many questions to ask you, you're doing almost exactly what I've just started on!How is the paint turning out while spraying in the garage? Any dust?

Just IM me any questions you have. I would love to help ya out.
The painting actually turned out great. no dirt or dust. I waited for a non-humid day with no wind so I could keep the door open on the garage. The wife didn't like it because the house smelled like clear. but, most of the dust can be removed with wetsanding and buffing. one of the greats of base/clear. now there was a bit more clear mist on stuff in the garage (door knobs and tool boxes) but fug it.

Hopefully I can get this problem solved, so I can start upgrading. I also found out the my bunny has about 400+ $ in suspension under it's front end. Now I need rear stuff, and coils. Can't wait to see and maybe feel the weitecs in action!
Gimme a call whenever dude, and thatnks again for the help the other night! You should've brought the helios by if you were near home depot..

Got some work done while the wife was at a baby shower and the kid was nappingInstalled the steering rack with new poly bushings, Installed the gas tank, Installed the rear axle.
Just working on the rear sway bar now.
Got my Grill done. mmmmmmmm
Getting Very dusty. Once all is on the bottom, everything is getting cleaned and wrapped in plastic while I finish the top.
Finished wetsanding and buffing the front apron and engine bay.... well, what I felt like buffing in the engine bay that is. what a PITA.
Mmm nice rack![]()

If you are buying new A arms, get some from a 944, much better for for handling and still very uncommon here.for doing all this with a 2 year old, I cannot find the time to wash my cars with 2 little ones at home.

these do NOT bolt on. They require relocating the front mounting point further outward... the benifit is reduced unsprung weight... downside = very, very expensive IF you can even find them.

Thank you,
The lines were the ones from the car. it was a diesel so they come up on the passenger side. Just cleaned them up. oh, the front brake lines came from a 90 cabby so they were already bent for the proportioning valves that I installed.
I will be making my own lines to run to the back. the 79 had them run in the cabin of the car rather then underneith.

Let me know or show some pics when you hook up the fuel pump.Mine are crap and I need new fittings.
#68
UPDATE 6/11/05
Got all the essentials back on to allow the car to be flipped back over on it's wheels.New coilovers, brake lines, pretty much everything is new.
well, I don't have pics, but I have a video up to watch.
