There is a nice Blue R32 in the parking lift across the street from the brooklyn academy of music on fulton ave.
I heard the sound of an R32 for the first time when the attendant was parking your car.
Very nice indeed.
I've seen a couple .:R's around Bristol / Farmington, CT area. One Red and one Blue regularly. Not sure if anyone of them are in here but it's nice to see some representation from CT for once. Besides Peppe of course. Keep on trukin!!
I see a siler R everyday... My Neighbor across my court has one. Pretty funny that we have two on the same street. I must admit however he had his first. Did they ever come in red?? I see a red one in warrington... Unless it's just a dressed up GTI...
I saw a blue one heading north on I-79 last Thursday morning. That is the only one that I have seen on the road.
I saw one other red one this summer parked at a mall one car away from my red one and I have seen a couple at the race tracks. Saw one at Lime Rock last July4 for the ALMS and saw a couple at the Petit Le Mans this past September.
I passed one at Petit while driving my golf cart to get out to shoot the sunset. I shouted to him that I liked his car and I had a red one (couldnt wave while holding camera gear from falling off cart) and he looked at me like I was crazy or something and was pissed I was passing him in the cart.
oh yeah, i know where a black magic one lives, and a silver one lives, and i see them pretty regularly. i am a truck driver in Boston so i have the unique pleasure of seeing our brothers and sisters all the time. maybe you can confirm or deny this rumor, i've been told the northeast is the most vw populated area in the country???
I would agree in my opinion. The NE seems to be fully loaded with European cars. I see posts from these guys in Texas, their car must stick out like a sore thumb among all the american trucks and SUVs.
But in addition to the NE being a very yuppie car place, I think the fact that it is AWD makes it a hot ticket up here.
There's a guy who lives near Gilbertsville, PA on Swamp Pike with a blue .:R. It's always sitting out front as I pass by on the way to work every morning. No idea if he's a member of Vortex... but he needs some winter tires soon!
I also saw someone in a silver .:R behind me heading west on Main St. through Collegeville, PA one night a while back. Gave a

Outside my work in Bellevue, WA by the entrance to the parking garage at SUNSET CORPORATE CAMPUS there was a BMP R. Interesting semi-mirrored window tint but otherwise stock from what I could see. Just want to say what up because my R was about 30' away from yours on the other side of the wall.
Quote, originally posted by bbz » right here. i've seen a dbp at fry's (which i parked next to and got a "HA HA" note), a dbp at 183 & burnet and a week ago saw a bmp pulling out of my neighborhood while i was pulling in! so 3 sightings for me since feb. i'm hoping i'll run into my neighbor again (if it even was one).
sup man! I haven't seen any DBP here in town. Only silver 3 silver ones.. Kinda cool to cruise around in different car..
12/10 @ 8:15 am spotted a DBP R32 in Pleasantville, NY on Rt. 117. Looked like an older woman driving. Had a yellow ribbon on the back hatch...
