I found this part attached to my car when I was removing and re-installing the driveshaft this week.
Of course, we all know what the Bentley people keep telling us... the two cars have nothing in common...

As for Twin Turbos - forget about it. I don't think they would fit under the hood of the Phaeton. I just finished re-installing the engine this week, there were, literally, just millimeters to spare when lifting it back up into the engine compartment. I cannot imagine where two turbos could get placed.

      Michael Michael Michael,
You must be on vacation this week as it seems like you have way too much time on your hands. I just wonder what kind of hobbies your interested in.

Michael's hobbies?!? I think it doensn't take too long to find that Michael's sole hobby consists of dismantling his Phaeton and rebuilding it scre-by-screw every weekend just to help us out!
Oh and, did I just notice that the Flying Spur is pillarless, in Kcmover's images. Or is that the GT?

I think it's just the GT, here's the Flying Spur:

I see. I've always liked pillarless. And in a saloon it can be quite cool. I think maybe the Impreza is the only pillarless saloon I know.

I think all Subarus are (although I'm only familiar with the Forrester, Legacy and Outback).
Back to Bentleys, after a two hour walk through London (mostly Kensington & Chelsea) I spotted 12 Bentleys and 0 Phaetons

The Impreza has a B-pillar; that's where the seatbelt attaches. I think that true hardtop sedans disappeared in the Seventies, but the Japanese love their faux-hardtops. During the Nineties, there were boutique frameless-door variants of most mainstream Japanese sedans. As an example, the US-market Lexus ES250 was simply a Japanese-market faux-hardtop Camry rushed over to meet the need to have two cars in the initial Lexus lineup.

there's always one that has to split hairs!
I think I mean frameless when I said pillarless, sorry!!
I love those Bentleys, but there are some cars such as Gt's, RR sports, Cayenne's where their lack of exclusivity takes away their charm..

Obviously I'd pop out and buy one of each tomorrow otherwise

I agree about the GT since there's no longer the "Ooo! Look!" factor. As for the Cayenne, I think it's its looks that take away most of it's charm
