modern line 1-piece's are reasonable, as well as most of the Borbet's... you'd be surprised what $2000 will buy

Get some RH cups. Those arn't very expensive (around 200 each, depending upon size) and have some good dish. http://www.rh-wheels.com

ATS Cups or Planets come wide enough, IIRC you can get 15x9s on the former.

Keep an eye on the wheel & tire classifieds, you should easily be able to pick up a wheel/tire combo for that kind of $$$

Like I said. For that money (if he means US$) he can get a set new from us mounted and balanced like on the above pictures.

Definately call up Matt@TZ, he can get you what you seek in the price range you are looking.

He got me wheels for my old car at a VERY resonable price.

Shit, for 2g's you can get yourself a nice set of color matched wires with tires and have a little bit of loot left over. Pick up a copy of lowrider magazine and check the specials. Wires are so damn inexpensive it's crazy. I'm def. gunna be rockin some on my next project.

    26. 12-22-2004 01:21 PM #26
thanks for the ideas... hopefully ill find a nice set soon

Do they make wires with dish? I don't see the relevance to this thread

Yup! The first set of wires I ever had were 13x7 with a reversed offset (5" of dish) but that was back before they had FWD specific sizes and offsets. Most wire wheel companies will custom assemble a set of wheels to your specs. So if you wanted a 16x8 with a 3" chrome lip, chrome nipples, powder coated spokes and a chrome hub and spinner they'll do it and it's usually not that expensive.

wires belong on lowriders not dubs...do you know how much of a pain wires are...not only to clean but also to keep true...normal wheels dont require regular truing like wires do

    30. 12-23-2004 07:16 PM #30
i would definatly go with Tunershop Steve is a great guy, you can get Broc B2's very resonable, and a very highly dished wheel. if 16x9

      hahahahaha best comment ever.

Do they make wires with no dish would be a more relevant question.

Cheap wheels with dish for $2000 Cdn?

No, I can't think of any good wheels that $5 US would buy.

Contact Strictly-European here on the Tex. He has a real nice set of wheels with dish up for sale still, I think.
