As it states. My airbag light is on. Will I fail NJ state inspection?

Nope. Just say the light was never cleared after it was fixed if they ask but I doubt they will.

I went to Dmv inspection with a friend like 3 months back and the guy failed him for emissions, and they also stated on the form that he had failed for the airbar light being on and that they both needed to be fixed before it would pass, so... you might or might not, saying the code was never cleared might work, thats if they even notice

      why?

That's like the only good thing about NJ. Better than paying $30 every year (even more if you have emissions)

of course if you know you might fail....then don't go to the DMV

i pay 75 bucks every 2 years, and i don't have to deal with the headache or worry if it will ever pass.

zero is much better if you check the list over before you head in.

with cars my age and strict emission laws....its just a safer bet.

      Thanks for chiming in though.

once you fail in NJ you HAVE TO go back to DMV.....why fail and then spend hundreds or whatever....just pay it and drive.

sorry if 75 bucks is a stretch for ya

Pm with where you go for 75.00. is it like a "gaurenteed pass" kinda place, or could I still fail? my 16vt will never pass an inspection ever again.

      edit: horrible grammar
