You work fast, I wish I could wash, clay, AND wax in 3 hours... more like 5 or 6 for me. Oh, and by the blatantly obvious pics, you work at EA games I suppose?

i have had my R for 2 weeks now and i finally got my car clean enough to take some pictures of her. after 3 hours washing, clay baring and waxing i have my pictures. nothing fancy, but enjoy.
here is my iPod installation hooked into my trunk changer. had to connect a ground loop isolator to get rid of the engine noise because of the ground, which was a pain.
and i also did a first pass flapper mod with the c-clamp. just to see if i like it enough to install the switch.
now if i can just get the rest of my chores done so i can go driving... bah! dishpan hands!!

Looks like you got cloth though, yes? That's a bit more rare, the leather seats are the common ones.

Just curious because i just bought an r32 last week and i want to install my ipod bad!!! i havent used cds in a few years now. the connector is the one that is sold here:
the ground loop isolator is a total pain to install there is a thread on it here:

and the technical instructions on how to install the GLI here:

my advice is to split the cable sheilding so you have more slack to work with, or do what the original guy did and have someone who is good with small wire work do it for you. it is really straightforward just follow the directions and make sure it is a clean job, you don't want to have to buy a new cable if you mess yours up. good thing about it is that all you have to do is replace the cable as you are not doing any work to the complicated part.
edit for spelling...

I've never seen them before, only in a magazine. I would much rather have those than all leather. gives it some contrast and much easier on you after leaving it in the sun for a while.
Awsome
