Thread: Mod Friendly Service @ Boardwalk VW in Redwood City!

1. 02-25-2008 11:33 PM #201
actualy it sounds like you are being an instigator of trouble here . but sence your butt head needs straightining out . i paid the 4 dollars each no questions asked , because i had already walked in the door and i make 30 dollars an hour . how ever while the items were in my hand i thaught these were definatly not worth 4.00 . so sence i work across the bay near winn vw on my way home and wile picking up some parts i ordered from them i asked [parts man]how much he would charge me for 2 lug nuts .he told me 2.50 each . the cool guy parts man actualy went in the back and braught me out two for free . so i actualy paid 0.00 dollars for 2 from winn . there are many lesons i could give you . what you see is only skin deep. and stick to your own buissness

brandon you are cool based on what others say on here . in terms of hooking me up you did i appriciate that . but not to be emotional or any thing but just because you gave me a good vortexer deal dosent mean your a good person . i dont know that subject would be long and personal . i would say based on what ive seen in my short time of dealing with you . you seem to be one of the few who actualy does his job and does it well . ill more than bet you will be heading to higher places and deserving of such . but not because you gave me a good deal . that is somthing you did along the way . thumbs up to you

They have 2008's in other states, but no word on them from VW. Has your business picked up that much?!

So, you could have paid 8 bucks here in Redwood City, but instead, you opted to go across the bridge to buy them for 5 bucks, but then paid the 4 dollar bridge toll, so it cost you 9 bucks total, plus gas? I salute you, my friend, you are quite shrewd. Would you mind giving me a lesson in saving money one of these days?

Thanks to Brendan for a great deal on my R32 (and for finding me the blue one I wanted). I honestly loathe just about every part of the car buying process (when am I going to get a "Buy it now" button on a web site with delivery to my door, really? I would pay for that) but Brendan made it the whole process almost entirely painless. Yay!

I hear you too on the buy it now button. If I find a way to make that work, I think I could retire...

Hey Brendan. My buddy is looking for a used 4 motion passat B5... wagon or sedan Checked out the web and only saw 1 listing. Can you keep me posted? I'd rather deal with a fellow vortexer.

Will do. We get them from time to time, and when I get one in, I'll fire you a PM.

Yeah, feel free to drop by. If I'm not to slammed we can run out and get a cup of coffee or something. I'm in from 9am to 6pm on Sat, and 11 to 5 on Sunday.

I just picked up a slightly used 08 R32 today. I wanted to drop it by and make sure everything is ok. I usually do that right away after I buy an used car still under warranty. I was also wondering if your service dept could turn off my DRLs? Thats the only thing that really bothers me. Also do you offer loaners when having the vehicle worked on?

I was wondering if you could find out how much a arm rest for a 02 GTI would be. It would be great if it was in black cloth.

Hi Brendan,
Is there an "H" diverter valve out from VW? I think my "G" valve is going out. I hear a whistle coming from the engine at about 3000rpm. Thanks!! I'm chipped by GIAC, by the way.
