I just wanted to share my experience on buying my GTI on Ebay from Donohoo Auto from Birmingham Alabama. I bought a car from them because of their 100% positive feedback. They didn't only have a good price for the car, but they stood behind it after the purchase when some issues came up. My AC was not working due to a damaged AC line that the warranty did not cover.

I highly recommend them for their prices and their excellent customer service. If any of you have any additional questions I am more than happy to tell you more about my first car buying experience on Ebay.

The wooden shift knob is gone already, replaced it with a MOMO. If the OEM aluminum dahs kit were not so expensive I would've bought one already.

Also those pictures of the car do not do justice on how good the interior really looks. When I got the car it was fully detailed and looked much better inside. Of course it was a used car and some wear is expected.

That's funny I was looking at this auction for a while, I didn't hear back from Donohoo regarding the broken tail light, but then I found an 03 for 3k more, so I decided on that one..
I hope the car works out well for you, I almost pulled the trigger and bought this one, or at least tried to bid on it. Nice to hear you had a good experience with Donahoo, I was also looking at one in Georgia around the same time, from "marrieta sports cars"? did you see that one too..

That's funny! I asked them about the tail light too and they fixed it before the car was shipped. I also purchased the 5 year 100k warranty with $0 deductable for $1500. On a used VW you never know what you are going to get.
