Is it possible to purchase or can you get a hold of JUST the metal ring that goes inside the wheel to hold the horn button in place? My wheel came without it and I'm in dire need of that piece.

I think you should bring in some of the racing steering wheels, with removable hub adapter. I would buy one of those if the price was right.
