    Yeah, I noticed earlier.

I wish I'd made note of the 10k mark. I know I noted it in passing in the 10k post, but I wouldn't know where to find it now.

I'm sure I'd be depressed with how quick I've added those 7,000.

Erick, you said last night on the phone it was an S3 but according to above quote you said an A3 showed up. Which one is it? Do I need to come out there and school you on VW/Audi makes and models like I did last time? (Don't try pulling that I don't remember crap. Just think of the B3 vs. B4 Passat discussion).

yeah I remember that discussion........and if anyone needs schooling Im the Teacher your the student .......Yeah I meant A3 not S3 even though they are sweet. Black with 6 speed and full moon roof with custom rims...JEALOUS is me yeah is kinda slow round here......and AHEM Lori you have IM

YAY. Waiting on them to email me the #'s we left written on the whiteboard.... (I knew I shoulda written them down, but they offered to email'm)

So Phrog's deffinately NOT slammed. But he handles like he's supposed to. Like the tires are melted and it's nothin' but glue.

I went ahead and got dyno'd just to see. And using all their #'s I am appearently at 136WHP. Which is.. kinda funny, stock(150hp) should be 128WHP. But whatever, 166ft.lbs@3500ish, holding 150 from 2900-4800.

Now I have something to start with though, and I can work on making that better.

Once I get the #'s back I'll let you know the weight info.

VW is known to be a bit conservative in their ratings. The additional HP doesn't terribly surprise me.

How's everyone doing today? Getting excited about this weekend?

    Miscommunication on the #'s thing.

Phrog's chipped, w/a turbo back exhaust system, underdrive pulleys, & N75 type H valve.

I don't know how the dyno's off, but what I do know, is that I have a baseline now. (that says I've added 10hp over the 5 yrs I've owned him )

Weekend's lookin' sexy! Oil change tonight (MAN those lifters were loud this cold morning). I dunno, I'll probably stare at my brake rotors and use my Geller-esque metal bending ability to straighten out whatever the problem is.

Party's up. I've got 2 friends coming with so I won't impose Friday night. I guess we'll just meet up Saturday morning in Columbus.
I think we'll wait for Lori and head out from there. Whatcha think Lori? I'm not sure where you work, so I dunno if you'll be coming across Lakeland or Spillway, but a phone call and we can meet up at my place or the Waffle House 'gain. (or BK or whatever) Y'know... somethin' healthy

I need to go to Lowe's and get a propane cylinder for the grill since I've already run the first one out, but we'll cook some burgers or something on Saturday afternoon.

Lori will be coming from Highland Colony Parkway. I think the Spillway is closer but what do I know? I'm horrible at directions.

I'm glad my salivations humor you.

MAN... that shop needs to send me those #'s pronto. Sheesh. I should have just scribbled them down like I was about to do when he said he could email'm to me.

Other than that the shop was really nice & cool. Let me spin my own wrench; offered advice; etc etc. It was pretty cool

  16. 11-16-2005 02:44 PM #2116
Sounds like Spillway to me too. Woo! I can await at the comfort of my own home. How splashy.

Poor Lori's gonna be so tired. Hey, should I stay up all night so that both Dub drivers are completely out of their wits when it comes to wheel time?

Both, haha, what am I saying. Brian you BETTER run that 'tsx' of yours. I hear they've done REALLY good on AutoX circuits.

yes, spillway is closer, and you are terrible with directions. unless you have landmarks to go by, then you're a-ok. it's alright tho, b/c you're not ashamed to stop and ask and you've been doing better with street names and knowing where you are, especially all those roads around the house. we're proud of you!
