Don't worry your Mom's Touareg isn't the only one. When i was at Gossett they were having several of them coming back for the same reason.

On a side note...mine can't be aligned either. Then again your moms car is only a year old.

Does Gossett know how to align them, though? That's the issue is finding someone that can align it. I know it can be done. If they still can't seem to do it here, they're going to try to get a new one I suppose.

I'm well aware hers isn't the only one. The ****ty thing is that VW only acknowledges the first 25,443 units of 2004 as being bad, and they are still sending out some 2005s that are bad. Ours is a 39k. VW won't even pay the dealer for the alignments that have been done thus far.

    How was the wedding?

Well if anybody could do it...Mark could. I will see if i can get him on here to read about the situation. His name is "Wasted Wages" on here.

The wedding was cool. I'm so happy for my bro. We have been pretty close since his accident. Kinda was a lil sad, he no longer him being a bachelor.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll feel the same way when I get married- sad but happy at the same time.

I thought about Mark yesterday when we were talking to the guy at the dealership. See what he says about it.

Ah- okay. I mistakenly assumed that you might have gone out with Mike last night. If you noticed his state this morning, you'd know why I assumed you may be hung over.

i should prolly clarify, especially b/c it made reno a bit upset, that the food burning was not his fault--the grill was way too hot and we didn't realize it until it was too late usually he is the man at grillin'!

    but oh well!

MORE DRAMA.... Long story short, my bro on his honeymoon sliped and fell in Mexico. Broke some bones when he already was para-palegic(sp?). Cost 20K to bring him home air ambulance. No way in hell we going to let them do the surgery in Mexico. Last night was a long one. Worked 14hrs yesterday and didn't get home till 5:30. Slept 3 hrs or so and worked this morning. Then back to hospital to see him after the surgeries. He is doing ok as he can be right now. Very bad way to start a new life w/ his wife. So i'm going to bed now. Later

Poor Wes. Man, you are just not getting any breaks! I understand your whole not getting sleep. I got to sleep about 30 - 45 minutes before I went to work tonight. Needless to say, me and redbull be best friends tonight.

How is the mk2 coming Wes? Do you need me to come up there and help motivate you to get some work done (plus I am itching to work on mk2 or mk1).

Here in Jackson at the MidSouth Auction house they have 5 early, early Cabriolets sitting on their lot. I wouldn't mind buying the silver one they have and really fixing that sucker up. Lori took some pics, I guess I should get her to post them up.

The GTI is ready for paint, everything is done. I thought maybe he could start on it tomorrow. He is still saying he is only one man....blah blah....the guy w/ the 69 Impala is hassling him for it. I understand what he is saying. And his dad had a heartattack so he is running his business during the day. He has over 40hrs or more left on the this Impala. So he implied that mine wouldn't be done till after the Impala. I told him just to take 4-5 hrs and finish mine up and that will be one less problem. So in other words there is really nothing you can do. Except when it is done, help me put it together.
