    Woo! Nothin' special to 'woo' about, just happy it's the weekend. Hey I hope Lori's not still at work.

    I got a used gauge cluster; lookin' at swapping needle positiongs and such. HOLY COW. I can see what I have to do, what 8 solder points I have to switch locations and such... but NO IDEA how to go about it. Anyone got some REALLY geeky technical w/electronics friends?

    I *THINK* I'd have to sand the PCB board to break some connections, and then solder in 8 wires (to replace the circuit on the board) ... I don't even know if that's possible, or if it'd screw up the voltage/amperage whatever that the ... um, needle motor(solenoid?), needs.

    Anyone know any circuit engineers?

    10/10ths, until the über-crappy tires began to break loose.

    The tires are obviously the weak link. If I had some stickier tires, I've got no doubt this thing could take some serious abuse.

    The DSG was superb as well.
