something is screwy with the timing....hp seems low - but could be lots of variables. going to post up in the 1.8t forum with some logs and see if anyone has some thoughts.

before and after (best combo of 10 runs highest hp was 216) runs change was addition of eurojet fmic, tip, and tbh only.

ps - ignore the afr. the big 42dd tip is terrible with the probe. af is right at 12 across the range.

so it makes a difference to run with 16 and drag tires? or not really with this type of car?

  15. 04-08-2008 11:29 PM #295
slicks or radials are always going to make a difference in your 60ft times. as far as rim size i would say u would do a little better with the 16s. besides i would hate to see the bill for 18in drag radials.

    It's a dyno dynamics dyno...reads super low. On dynojet, he'd be 200+whp.

This was today during NGP Racing's Dyno Day at the Aberdeen location. They had a little trouble getting the Torque on one of the runs, but all in all I am happy, what I was expecting, really need a TBE!

    Current Engine Modifications or Additions:

    Custom Code Phase 1 Flash
    Turn2 Lightweight Crank Pulley
    Carbonio CAI
    APR R1
    APR TIP and TB hoses
    BMF Dogboone mount
    IC Vent Mod
    ABD Racing Lower IC Pipe
    NewSouth Powergasket Plus
    HyperGrounding Kit

Shell 93 Octane, regular 5-8K oil changes with AMSOil products, 1 week old spark plugs (BKR7E @ .28 gap). SMIC and TB was recently cleaned and de-oiled. Car is at 69,452 miles.

How come I see no Unitronic chipped cars? Is there a reason no one dyno's with Unitronic?

I'm trying to be a good member and search the forums about the different programs instead of being a noob and making a thread......

  29. 09-05-2008 01:52 AM #309
