not bad. i would use the burn tool on 50% grey layer to imitate shadows on the wheels from the fender. gives it an even more realistic look.

for other colors i do it like this, i use paint.net

i go to corrections, color hue

and then you can change the color in this little window

slice tool is for web design, it cuts up your layout in to sections so you can put in a web page.. not really useful for as a design tool but if you are building a website from your photoshop comps then it is useful..
