Ye, it def has a golf like shifter which i can see being corny and crazy light,
Im sure it will need a B&M sts to pick up the slop, and like an audi R8 knob,
to give it smooth throws.. the 1000 over sticker aint too bad, how did it ride overall?
cause prior to release, reviewers were mixed, but I heard from a guy from VWNA, that
the powertrain is def way better than the mkv32, and not sure if you drove that,
was wondering what you thought..

Ken does it always do that? What injectors are tune are you running? What are your fuel corrections in block 032? Maf or mafless?

He got a code from a hand held scanner but dumb dumb didnt write it down and cleared it. He said it was Cam Position Sensor related.

If so I would check the wiring and connection to the cam sensor. If not that is likely the culprit. If the car doesnt know where the intake cam is it'll kaboom out your backend and run like poop.

Powertrain was iffy on the MK5 R32, being automatic really sucked IMHO. Not much to say about the MK5.....

But the MK6 R did have a solid ride, seats definitely hugged and kept you in place under heavy turns. Other than the shifter being light as hell, the AWD system reacted really well when I launched... Yes Launched the crap outta that thing (Sales guy was a young and was down for it) and each gear ratio was nearly perfect, not short as hell like my Z, but well balanced.


Overall I'm really impressed with the 2.0T+ AWD setup it has, and the interior trim is sexy as hell too...


Only Con... It doesn't sound anything like the VR6


Other than that its def a sick VW.

Well its not rocket science. But you still need that bolt. I was going to saw my tow hook, tap it and attach the plate. But I'm thinking of something else at the moment.
