Let me think...my bug, KidStar's S4, VWCK showed, as well as the silver Getta, and then 2 other S4's showed, a total of 7 people IIRC.

It was a nice night to be out, but only 2 people showed. I was there as well as Ron in his A2. VWCK showed up for a few minutes and then left, but never came back. We left around 10:45.

I want to keep doing this, but we're going to have to figure something out in order for this G2G to catch on.

that's just it....there's aloooottttt of V's, Audi's and Bims tuned and running up and down these damn streets...but dudes be on some stuck up, shine and blinging ****!

We're just trying to get dudes out who love their rides and geek and cruise...that's it. Come thru, grab a brew, politic....and roll out.

Its open to Audi's, VDubs....E46's are S4 drivers sworn enemies

I would think that this G2G is open to everyone who just wants to hang out and show off their car a little bit. We're not talking a show here, just people who ride with pride.

I think that this G2G has potential if we get the word out.

I run a forum/club here in houston and im moving up there in august and would love to stop by to check out the scene...but i'll be selling my car since i wont have a job when i get there..my gf is going to sarah lawrance this upcoming semester..
but anyways..one thing we did is that we made our meets once a month. The logic behind it is that since you only get 1 chance a month to go to the gtg..everyone makes an effort to go and they make sure to leave that date open..we have had up to 60 cars and 70 people at our gtg's..just something to think about..dunno.

(on a side note..to fill up the time between our gtg's we usually have cruises or some sort of bbq party...)

Indeed, and your input is very much welcomed. The reason behind the every week thing is to keep repetitive, fresh and to attract random drivers, friends and enthusiasts alike. With monthly, God forbid a more branded G2G be going down...oops your S.O.L. We're not trying to compete with the already established G2G's...we're just trying these so called BK tuners up off their asses,..and bring th heat instead of showing off up an down these street.

Simple, no holds bared, fun hang, drink (don't drive)...wholesome get down.

I have a freakin wedding to go to. Its in Brooklyn, but I won't be taking my car with me cuz I dont park it on the street and cuz I dont trust the valet parkers.

fyellowvr6, if we had gtg's once a month, we would only have 3 gtg's a year! Unlike Texas, New York has cold winters

Thats why when the weather is nice, we have gtg's all over the 5 boros & Long Island almost every night of the week. On any given night, you can take a ride down Francis Lewis Blvd and chances are you'll see at least 10-15 vw's.

A big thank you to Mike for bringing his vagcom. He helped me out with my CEL. Again, I really appreciate it

So, we had me in my Beetle, VWCK in his Jetta (get that insurance soon so you can roll in your Mk2!), Mk2madness in his GTI, Mike and Margaret in their R32, and even a Corrado showed up. I was surprised when my Father pulled up in his 85 911 M491 (Factory turbo-look).

Lots of fun, guys. Let's keep it up

Oh, I also forgot that I had my camera with me It was too dark for good pics anyway. Next time we'll get a spot in the light and we'll snap some pics

If you dont have to stay in the city...You might want to try some neighborhoods in Queens. Like Astoria / Long Island City. You can still get a really nice big size 1 or 2 bedroom for pretty good prices
