you must be measuring from outer lip to outer lip..

your supposed to measure a rim width on the inside of the lip..

otherwise my 8.5" wheels would be more like 9" wheels.. and they aren't..

In fact.. after closer inspection.. I'd say your wheels appear to only be 8" RM's.. maybe 8.5 at the most..

also.. what size are your tires?.. they would have to be 225's or more to not be stretched on a 9" wheel.. because the tires in that picture are just barely stretched... And if you had 225's on them.. they sure as hell wouldn't fit under mkII flares..

so I'm going to say they are 8" RM's with a 205 tire on them.

here's are some closeup pics of my 8.5" RMs..
see how the first step of the lip is wider that the outer part..

with the Type A's.. I actually think it looks better with 7.5's out front..

the 9's out front just seem to poke too much..

      but that looks just right.

In fact i didnt measure from inside lip to inside lip. I am running 215/45's. So i guess they are 8.5 wide..I see the difference with your lips to mine... Thanks for clarifying.

yes, but.. My lips are the 2.5 inch lips, which would make my wheels 8.5.

your lips appear to be even all the way around, which would indicate that they are in fact 8" wide.

but I could be wrong, as I've never seen them in person.
