Although my '95 doesn't have this plastic piece, it's a solid 1-pc unit, how difficult would it be to get replacement hoses that allow me to use this fitting?

I ask because I'd like to use this part, along with the metal crack pipe, as a form of preventatice maintenance. No coolant leaks as of yet at 113k, but I don't want to press my luck.

Good question...I think you can trim cut the 1 part hose, make it 3.

I just found out from a friend that bought the metal one, said it fit fine. Just cut the hose into 3.

I just spliced my Samco upper radiator hose with the Y-pipe last week, and it's working like a champ. Just use a sharp razor blade and make sure the edges of your cuts are straight, and you're good to go. Total joy not having to mix 50/50 Dexcool/distilled all the time and fill my reservoir every two days!

    a2t2 makes good isht.
