Thread: Dyno Weekend with Black Forest Industries & APR 7/30 and 7/31

    Black Forest Industries, in conjunction with APR, are proud to announce our Dyno Day/Weekend.

    This event will take place over the course of two days, Saturday July 30th and Sunday July 31st. All activities will be held at Carolina Auto Masters located in downtown Durham, N.C.

    All runs will be made using an in-ground DynoJet. Air/fuel ratios will be included utilizing a wideband oxygen sensor.




    Rates for dyno runs are as follows:

    -Standard (Any 2WD Car) $40

    -After Completion of Free 6 Hour APR Trial Software Installation $20

    -After Purchase of APR Performance Software $FREE!

    **Discounts are only applicable if software is installed the day of the dyno run.

    All runs will be allotted a maximum of 25 minutes with an unlimited amount of pulls. Modifications may be made to the vehicle at any point during the 25 minutes with the exception that the car must remain strapped to the dyno at all times.

    Black Forest Industries will be providing refreshments as well as bringing a large selection of VW/Audi performance parts from our shop located a few miles away in Cary, N.C.

    Saturday 10-6pm

    they do a lot of hotrods, but i don't think they consider themselves a domestic hot rod shop. last time i was there the owner was driving a WRX.

    true. i'd call them a performance shop.. but it does seem like they cater more towards the domestic/musclecar crowd

    Cars running great. Going through break in process now. It'll be ready to put down some good numbers, I hope. I am going to say 190 whp anything extra is a bonus.

    how did i get on the list? i never said i could make it up there... i'm going to be working. wsh i could though. is there a way that austin with the purple GTI could pick up some nutserts for me while he is there for the front Strut Tower i have form you guys? that way i can install it rather than make it a dining room table decoration? e-mail me at Romeo591@aol.com or call me at 704-650-2020 and i can pay for them by CC over the phone

    Yes will be bringing a collection of stuff from the shop. Specific parts by request. As well as we will be returning to the shop for a GTG or sorts after the dyno day ends on Sat

    well, i just got back from dyno day! it was great! apr chip, with 4 programs for only $470, i got a stubby antenna for 15 bucks, sidemarkers for 35, a free dyno, and 2 free shirts! it was sweet. with my chip, i now have 215 hp and 240 torque.

    btw, i have the dark green automatic jetta with the smoked side and bumper markers, and tinted taillights, for anyone who was there.

    Great event! Got some very useful info about my a/f ratio and was very happy with my numbers. Thanks for setting this one up Black Forest .
