    Thread: Low pressure AC port location?

      Im charging my AC but having trouble locating the low pressure AC port, does anyone know where this is located on a 95 golf?

      There are two steel lines coming off the passenger side of the fire wall. A fat one and a skinny one. The FAT one is your LOW pressure line. This is the line you use to check/refill your refrigerant. Both nipples are of different size ....the fat, lower pressure line has the small connection.

      look on the firewall behind where the belts are located... it'll be coming out of the firewall, 2 stainless pipes, you want the one on the LEFT

      Yes the one closest to the wheel. The fitment on the hose should only fit the low pressure side opening also.

      Thanks alot guys, my air is ice cold now, worked out well for $24.
