went from this mk2 throttle body
to an OBD1 VR6 throttle body
...replaced front strut mounts (originals where tore-the-fu&%-up !)....only to discover a major oil leak coming from back-side of engine between block and head.... .....looks like it's time for headgasket and some new head bolts...of course i'll have the machine shop check it for warpage...
Treated her to a seafoam treatment today via PDXGTI's write up. 7oz in the oil, 10 oz with 10 gallons of gas and 8oz in the charcoal bypass vacuum line. I got tons of white smoke when I sucked it in, especially at first, then turned it off and let it sit for 10. Only a few seconds of smoke on restart. I guess it wasn't THAT bad.
Side note it's painfully obvious that I have headgasket/exhaust manifold leaks. Thanks seafoam.

Sorry for the crappy pic, but got news that these badboys are done at the powdercoater. Hopefully picking them up this weekend, then it's time to play with adapters to get just the right setup. The four white ones are going on the car, the 2 red ones are actually done in a red very similar to what Porsche uses for their spares, and they will be the spares for my coupe and my MK3. All 6 are 16x8.

weird thing is, it drove fine all day. moved the linkage in the bay, felt really weird. im going to attempt an alignment on it, if that doesnt work then idk what to do other than swap the tranny
