of course i know that. this tool came with all three sizes. there is only one place in my area that rents tools, where do you think i got this from. the other two sizes were far too big and just spun on the tie rod. this was the closest, i made it work

today i ordered, early rabbit radiator, 2 9" slim fans, early rabbit low temp fan switch, and some flexible radiator hoses to make it fit

Recharged my mk2's AC, compressor works getting cold air. But the compressor isn't getting any power I had to run a line from the battery to get it going. Also the alternator went out good thing I have one laying around to replace it :thumb.

finally got it driveable on saturday..got the exhaust fabbed up on sunday, and hooked up the head and turnsignal city lights, and the rear foglamp...then before it got dark i took it up and down the taxiways goin for some top speed runs...i saw it sayin between 80 and 85 indicated, but look at those small tires.good thing i got a big d**k
      exhausting

after the bomb runs...probably put 3 miles on it

i used a fog light switch to activate the city lights.position 1 is just the headlight ones, position 2 has the blincer citys and rear fog
amber should give less cop problems i hope

the arse...gotta scrape those stickers off,or grow a mullet
and straighhten out the tip again after its all settled now

gonna try and get some plates this week!yay

...replaced front strut mounts (originals where tore-the-fu&%-up !)....only to discover a major oil leak coming from back-side of engine between block and head.... .....looks like it's time for headgasket and some new head bolts...of course i'll have the machine shop check it for warpage...

Treated her to a seafoam treatment today via PDXGTI's write up. 7oz in the oil, 10 oz with 10 gallons of gas and 8oz in the charcoal bypass vacuum line. I got tons of white smoke when I sucked it in, especially at first, then turned it off and let it sit for 10. Only a few seconds of smoke on restart. I guess it wasn't THAT bad.

Side note it's painfully obvious that I have headgasket/exhaust manifold leaks. Thanks seafoam.
      I know it's an 87, but it's MY 87.

Installed a 16v alternator setup on an 8v.

Now it can run with 8v alternators or 16v alternators, because both mounting hubs are still attached.

Before picture probably doesn't look too bad on camera but they were pretty dull looking and badly curbed.

That would explain why the brake disc looks so small.

Sorry for the crappy pic, but got news that these badboys are done at the powdercoater. Hopefully picking them up this weekend, then it's time to play with adapters to get just the right setup. The four white ones are going on the car, the 2 red ones are actually done in a red very similar to what Porsche uses for their spares, and they will be the spares for my coupe and my MK3. All 6 are 16x8.
