    Went from this:

    To this:

    Also...

    - Removed A/C condenser, compressor, lines, and chopped a few lbs. worth of bracket off. For those wondering, (1) you don't need any extra or special parts to delete the A/C in a PL or 9A, and (2) all parts together were 35.3 lbs.

cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, oil filter, oil and a damn starter. got every thing elese done first no problems. go to get in and start her up nothing. . . . starter failed at some point to no supprise an oddly long thin crack exposing the guts of the starter. Adjusted front coils up axle had rubbed a little on the frame due to no notch yet so had to go up.

Spent the first significant time with it in years. It's been dead in the garage since last year. Had a fellow texer come help out and we determined fuel pump was bad. Ordered a new one tonight.

Also put in new spark plugs and fuel pump relay, and have a new fuel filter, injector seals, and some injector cleaner waiting for the pump to show up. Also picked up a cleaner-than-mine fuel dizzy at H20 last weekend, and if I can get the rusty ass bolts off the current one it'll go in as well.

Hopefully it'll run for the first time in 2010 in the next week or two.

Also grabbed the spare teardrop from the trunk, gonna take the tire off and have my first go at refinishing a wheel.

    Piece o' junk:

My Mk2 has been dead and has been sitting for a couple of months so I removed the battery to get it recharged. I thought it would crank right up after the recharge, but no dice. Need to do further diagnosis.

Also, I had to kill and remove the wasps and wasp nest that was being built in between my door jam.
