I have 20w50 with a mann filter in mine, so my question is, will it start in temperatures as cold as -20F? (almost -30C) I live in canada and the winter months reach this temp, and sometimes colder. What oil should I use in the winter?

      20w50? how clapped-out is your mk2?

10w30 TYVM. plenty of oil pressure without pumping like maple syrup when the temps dip low.

20W-50 is what my manual said, and what the auto shop recommended. So I used it and it runs smooth.

i had little issues with 20w50 in -20C.

if you're really weary run 10w40 for winter.

Installed cams, new timing belt, new tensioner, and hung with a 400rwhp single turbo FD RX7 on methanol at GMR later that night.

Gotta love a 2200 lb curb weight!

Electric window decided to stop working again, while it was all the way down! Second time it's happened. Last time after a few hours it just started working again. If anyone has any ideas why this happens, please tell me.

Unless they have Rallye Golf G60's where you live, you won't find any G60 flares. Corrados don't have plastic flares.
