what're you concerned with the plates? since the privacy law, everyone that looks up your plate information (or VIN that isn't covered on your dash) leaves a papertrail with the MTO.

If you attend GTGs there is a very good chance someone will take a pic and post it. Cover your plates and VIN plate if you're concerned. On the other hand, you could drive a rusty Mk3 and no one will notice you

well when you drive around no one really concentrates on your plate unless its something cool. but honestly the worst someone can do is know thats your vehicle cuz of the plate number, they cant get your address from it unless( like it was stated above) the go through the MT0. leaving you home phone number on here would cause more problems.

I dont' see what the big deal is. This information is readily available to any who want it. They don't even have to go to MTO, just follow you home, buy some parts off of you at your house..

Licence plate numbers are public, so are vins. If someone is serious about stealing your car, fuzzing out your plate number won't hinder them for one second.

considering almost everycar is unique in appearance in one way or the other. same thing with alarm systems, theyre useless becuase if someone really wants to steal it they will.

you should be more concerned with people with video cameras on the road videotaping you. but then you don't know who has a video camera out there. the worst is at a cruise... some guy takes a video of the cruise of some other guy doing something stupid and then you're caught in the footage as well and by association, the cops want to talk to you. But even then, as long as you weren't doing anything stupid or illegal, they can't touch you.

but GTGs? It's still a peaceful gathering.
