I was there today to have my stock suspension put in for the winter. He does good work and is one of a few mechanics I know who actually takes the time to torque bolts... like EVERY BOLT.

    Thanks Perjad

Just got the rear beam bushings replaced on my dads 01 Golf 4dr.
    Best price going.
He even took the time to do a full brake and suspension inspection.
Told me what should be replaced and what could wait.
Even put the snow tires on for me.
And yes...as stated before...at no time during the installation of any of these items did I see him using a impact gun to torque bolts.
Everything tightened properly to spec with a torque wrench.

    Hey Perjad,

Do you sell any Seafoam type products or equivalents that go in through a vacuum line to clean the intake/valves?

Also did you get any more NGK BKR7E's in stock?

    Thanks!

    Hi Perjad,

It's Alan, you did a timing belt job on my TT, and full brake job on my wifes Jetta, very happy with both services.

Can you quote doing a brake job on my 2003 TT quattro 1.8T 225 with the following:

Replace both front and rear rotors with Zimmermann cross drilled
Front and rear Hawk HPS pads with sensor wires
Brake fluid flush with good grade brake fluid.

    Thanks in advance

Everyone has seen cars dripping oil in parking spots, you can't help but feel sorry for the owners. 1) They are being ripped off by the person doing the oil change. 2) Most car owners don't check their oil level.

Just had my clutch and wheel bearings replaced. Perjad did a great job and the car drives better than ever. I also had the timing belt replaced a while ago with same result. He really does do a great job. Highly recommended

i have a question for you. could you fix an oil leak i have coming from my oil return line on a 92 1.6l turbo diesel? the part is NLA and i think it is cracked on the flex portion of the pipe. how much would you charge.
and how much for an oilchange with a decent 5w40?

question...im going to need an oil change soon for my 2.0 and was wondering what is the best oil you guys recommend...its i really neccesary to use full synthetic for my car since it is not a performance engine...what benefits will synthetic offer my 8v other than longer change intervals?
    thanks

    hi perjad,

i was wondering if you can perform the 64,000 km interval service (or any other interval service) on my 2006 jetta. i'd rather take it to your shop based on all the great recommendations rather than to the dealership.

  15. 04-01-2010 06:04 PM #155
to Perjad! Was in this week for a tune up and timing belt job. Good price and nice service! I'll be in touch about the exhaust.
    Thanks again!

Went to Perjad for a full timing belt service and while there got him change my oil and put on my summers too.
It's a far drive for me, but he's the best.
    Great service, prices and care.

Thought I'd drop in to say that this shop provides a great and honest service, at very reasonable prices. As the previous posters, I also had my belt done. I'll definitely be heading back for any future work on the car.

What gear oil goes in the MKIV manual transmissions GL4 or GL5?

I've heard GL5 in the MKIV manual transmissions eats up the synchros, and that GL4 should be used.

    Is this true?

    According to Redlines site:

    "GEAR AND SYNCHRONIZER WEAR PROTECTION

Most manufacturers of manual transmissions and transaxles recommend an 80W or 90W GL-4 lubricant. GL-5 gears oils which are required in hypoid differentials are not used in most synchromesh transmissions because the chemicals used to provide the extreme pressure protection can be corrosive to synchronizers, which are commonly made of brass or bronze. Typically, the use of a GL-5 lubricant in a synchromesh transmission will shorten the synchronizer life by 50%. "

    Lubromoly appears to be GL5.

Just a note. Do not use Lubromoly 75W90 GL5 in a MKIV.

I had mine changed out from OEM, and started getting 1st-2nd grinds about 6 months later.

Changed to GM Synchromesh...fixed everything. This is the fluid to use.

Big thumbs down on the Lubromoly. Almost went to get my transmission rebuilt over it.

    Not cool.

I had Perjad and his co-worker Anthony install the DriverGear springs on my B6 Passat this past week. His new shop is nice and spacious and they took their time and did a great job on the install. I'll definitely be going back to him for future work.

Ever since June we have been busy with relocation. we have been so busy that we can hardly answer the phone. Try calling again during business hours. Our answering machine through bell does not work as it should, we are trying to fix that soon.

    Thanks

Just had a set of used Koni Coilovers installed on my 07 A3 this past Friday. Despite taking an entire day for Perjad and his assistant Alex, they managed to get the job done properly without any problems for me. All I had to do was pick up the car, pay for the service, and enjoy the ride.

After 3-4 years of not driving a VW/Audi and then going back to Perjad again, nothing's changed with his professionalism.

Highly recommend this shop and the service people

Just picked up my '03 2.0 on Saturday, after dropping it off Friday for a full timing belt service, GTI brake swap and 337 suspension swap. Not only does the car feel great, but I am confident that the work was done right. Perjad took the time to perform a full inspection and was honest in his assessment, he's not just looking to add to your tab. Fast and reliable service for the best prices around, hard to compete with that. 2 thumbs up PTM!

Amazing service. A pleasure to deal with. Great price. I'll be going back every time.
Nothing but big ups for PTM.

Perjad just did my Clutch and Timing belt all at once. He did a great job. He also saw a cheapy oil filter on my car and gave me **** for it. Now that is a man who passionate about cars.

    That is true passion!
