hey ya'll.. i just saw this thread. havent been on in a few weeks since i sold my vw for a bigger car but im still a big enthusiast of vw's even with all the problems mine had lol.. i was wondering how often ya'll meet up? i am the prospect secretary for team j spec but we are always looking for new members if ne one is interested or im always just trying to meet new people in this boring place called disgusta lol... ya'll may have seen me around in my beetle... it was a 2000 black turbo bug... i did the local car show scene and drag racing scene with it and i was always at nortons on washington rd... now im always at the tint shop on wrightsboro (sp) rd since they sponsor our car club... they are in the old nopi store but they can get great prices on vw stuff 2! ne ways hope to maybe meet some of ya'll if i dont already know ya'll.... another local site is csramotorsports.com ttyl

We dont meet as often as we should, but realisticly once every 2 months. Team J spec huh? Never heard of them.. I have a few friends that are in/started Team Evolution. They are always trying to get me to join but i am not much on the "team" thing. But anyways, sorry to hear that you got rid of your dub for a corolla. Maybe we'll see you around, just worn you boys not to try and race karsten or carlos

Well Guys......the new Mark V GTI has finally arrived. Gerald Jones took delivery of it today. Color: White. 6 speed manual transmission. Sticker price of $26,700....which in my opinion is a bit to much for a GTI. Anyways, it looks pretty nice....sits kinda high, bu looks good. We need to GTG. Later guys.

Hey Chris.....Good to hear from you. How are things going? How is the GTI doing? Everything is going good down here in Augusta. Would love to have you come down for a GTG. Bring along some other DUBS with you as well. How often do you guys have GTG's up in Charlotte? I would love to come up and see Charlotte and some of the local DUBS. Anyways, take care...and lets keep intouch.

hey dean, or any of you guys for that matter,
anyone interested in getting a Corrado? A friend of mine found a flash red 93 slc for sale in north augusta. It supposedly only has ~50k miles and the person is asking 6 or 7k for it. I don't know if you're interested but i though i would let you know. later.

rich kid or did he actually work for it? I guess dropping the few 5+ grand for a supercharger setup is minimal in comparison to purchasing the car in the first place...Lucky

As for the GTG.. Unfortunately we cannot make this one. We both have a Sat. class this semester so we won't be in town often. Have fun though
