I might be getting a aircooled bus. I'll keep you guys updated. I'm pretty excited about it (no details, just a guy who passed away had a collection of 5-6 of them and wants them to go to a good home).

Hopefully one of them is in good enough shape to justify taking home.

The father-in-law is doing legal work for the women, so he wants to take one to make it a "shop truck" (he owns howlawyer.com). He mentioned how I was a VW freak and in turn she was okay with me taking one as well. A little price of "on the house".

I don't know much about the lady, but I know she doesn't want to sell them, and just get them to a good home. Once I get some details on what she has, I will likely be trying to find good homes for them.

I have NO IDEA of what condition any of them are in. For all I know they are sitting outside in a backyard and are all rust buckets. Hopefully I'll get to check them out in the next couple weekends.


I really hope one is a panel. I want a panel so bad.

My father in law doesn't even need a runner, he can just park it in front of his office with a paint job, or vinyl wrap.
