I know it's early. But the rest of the NFC North looks so bad @ week 2 that I can't help but smile. I was hoping week one was just a new offense against a great defense. Looks like I was right.Orton scared me the first game, looked decent enough against the Lions. Being against the Lions is the only reason why I'm still not super impressed.
Thomas Jones ran like the Thomas Jones I've been a fan of. Found the holes (thanks o-line) and created afterwards.
Muhsin looks to be Orton's favorite target, and who could blame him. The guy is big with great hands, great catch in the endzone yesterday.
The defense is what is going to help this team win anything, as it did yesterday. Mike Brown is back and badder than ever, Urlacher is NOT overrated, Nathan Vasher, pardon the cliche, just has a nose for the ball, and the D line is deep. If the core stays healthy (like Brown and Urlacher and a couple linemen) then this is going to be a great defensive unit for a long long time.
So, let's hear it for the team atop the NFC North!
