Now they just need to beat Detriot and I think that we'll be looking o.k. . Being above .500 wouldn't hurt either

Had to listen to most of it on the road, but damn that sounded sweet. Best defense in the league, right here in Chicago.

Is that right that they have allowed 0 rushing TD's?

My brother was at the game in the (I believe) south endzone. He probably got all soakin' ass wet, too.

thats where I was, the biting rain was right in our faces. The place was half emtpy by the third quarter. I hope it was the Sox game that caused it and not bad weather lightweights leaving early. I was definatley taking back my complaints about sunburn in the north endzone last weekend when it was about 70 with no shade..... At halftime yesterday, they honored the 85 Bears, buddy ryan, the fridge, hampton, fencik, butler, dent, duerson, otis wilson, and mcmicheal were among those on hand. very cool. You're just jealous the Giants don't have a young up and coming stud at QB like Orton

So, uh, when does he learn to throw a pass to the sidelines without it hitting a kicker in the head?
And yes, the Lions are in for a beating this weekend. Unless, of course, Jeff Garcia realizes he has some huge receivers he can actually throw to. Then he'll just be flat on his back from the pass rush.
Isn't it great to see a pass rush finally? I mean, after all those years of waiting for Bryan Robinson and Philip Daniels, damn this feels good.

Congrats to the Sox, the upside of the sweep is that now the Bears can get back to being the focus in Chi.... Oh, and my Bulls too.

At least we had one Champion! I can't see the Bears goign to the playoffs! WEll maybe because Everyone sucks in the North... but I think if they make the playoffs by some luck they will get spanked by whoever they play. I miss seeing my bears play. You think out here we would get a midwest game instead of a arizona game when nothing else is going on. This week should be fun.. Battle for 1st place in the north! The monsters of the midway vs. the lions! What fun

I think Orton has very good potential. It was good to see them above .500 as well. Hopefully they'll continue to build on their success for the remainder of the season.

Orton looks great one series then terrible for 3. I'm actually surprised the Lions got it that close, I thought Thomas Jones would have been able to run all over them. A win is a win though, 1 game over .500 and first place.

Looked good enough yesterday, I'll take it. So with Rex thinking that he will be back around Thanksgiving and ready to 'help the team' what do you guys think will/should happen then? I believe that with yesterdays game in the books, Orton has more NFL games under his belt than Grossman. Do you disrupt any rythym you may have and re-insert Grossman or ride Orton the rest of the season? I personally think that Grossman should have to wait and battle Orton in next seasons camp but thats just me...

Depends what the Bears do in those 2 or 3 leading up to the game that Rex can play.

so far the bears this year remind me of when they made the playoffs a couple of years back...
when the defense would make the final winning score for them... mike brown would get his "walk-off" interception for a td off of a deflection or just being at the right place at the right time...
      go bears!
