Apartment is approved. They will call me back when it is ready for move in. Hopefully mid june early july. 2 one car garages will grately aid in me being able to work on stuff.

Also got on the mug club at shoreline brewery. 29 glasses sold out in les than two and a half hours after they opened. Mine is 20 ounces so I have to remember that it is 1 1/4 pints everytime I get a beer now so I dont get hammered.

A buddy at works grandfather has one of these, maybe someday I can talk him into selling it to me. First I will have to thin the herd a little bit. But running vehicles sell for more than non running vehicles. May sell the race car but not before I take it to the track and run a few passes in it to see what it has. After that I will be working on getting the truck running and then start tearing it down to start building it. Since I am getting my monty back it will probably just get the swap and some wheels and suspension thrown on it to make it driveable and will more than likely start pulling daily status until the caddy is done.

I'm new to Indiana, much less being somewhere where it snows in the winter, but I just wanted to see what's up here now that I live here. Definitely interested in any GTGs. I saw that truck at SoWo last year, and I think the year before. Pretty down about not being able to make this year's show. Anyways, I drive an 09 rabbit. Really into autocross. Got started with that while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Had a 94 GTi with the ABF motor from Germany (their original 2.0l 16v) and miss it dearly

Truck will be mine as soon as the bank doors open today. Then I can start buying parts as I find I need them for all the vehicles. First up may be some window seals and chinese door handles for the rabbit gti. After that thing is all sealed up and I find a way to put a speedometer in it I will start driving it frequently. I may throw some new tires on the rado steelies and get some flat caps for them. From there who knows where I may find myself on the caddy. It may just be up for sale once the rabbit is on daily status. But who knows, if the motor in the truck is garbage from sitting so long it may just get all the running gear from the rabbit.

I am going to look at a Mk3 Golf Saturday. Is there anything I should look for? How reliable is the 2.0? Also, they think there could be a small coolant leak. Any common causes for this on a MK3?

Check the strut towers, floorpan, and around the fuel filler neck for rust. The 2.0 is basically bulletproof. No idea about the coolant leak.. maybe the thermostat housing, or the coolant flange on the side of the head.

Don't forget to check the rocker panels. Those are infamous for rusting out

I really really don't want to do this because I was looking forward to putting them on my Audi but I need the money so get them from me cheaper and you don't have to wait for shipping

They are brand new still wrapped and comes with new mounting hardware as well $250 picked up in either NW Indiana or in the west loop of Chicago

they fit B6 & B7 A4's & S4's including wagons and they bolt right up, no holes to drill
