Miss all you guys too!! We started looking at houses and there is really nothing to great on the market right now. Just by driving around though it looks like there is going to be a lot of foreclosures trickling onto the market, so fingers crossed we can snag something up

Hours isn't bad, its the disorganization and the owner having the idea in his head that if he takes on more business we can magically get it all done in the same amount of time as before. They want me to get some crazy GD&T certification that only like 400 people in the U.S. have and learn Esprit in 6 months so I can move up on the floor and be a lead man. It's very overwhelming but I'm going to try and stick with it for now and see what I can accomplish.

GJ, Paul, and others in this thread can attest to the fact that I can in fact do the work, I just lack motivation when it comes down to my own cars.

Also found out that my bank does a fresh start loan program which will be a loan in which the money is placed into a cd and I pay a small monthly payment of like 30 something dollars. Although I will be paying interest on the loan the cd will be earning money to and cancel out some of the interest.

So I am still baffled by the fact that the battery in joans car lasted almost 11 years. I have a hard time believing that it was able to make it that long without dying sooner.

List of things to do during anytime I have off between now and totally hot summer months is to do a ac leak test to see where the freon leaks out when I fill her system up. After that is done it will just be a simple cd player install and her car should be set for awhile.

Then I can finally start tackling my projects. I think I will start with getting that little diesel motor pumping again and from there I am not sure but I will more than likely clean out the interior check over the car and flush all fluids and give it a brake job and then proceed to drive it back and forth to work for awhile to save on fuel.

I got 8 years out of the battery in my old contour and didn't even realize it was that old till it died. I replaced it with the same and that one lasted a year.

Her battery still said nissan on it. And the date was 2001. Hopefully the battery that is in there last more than a year.

James, I'm just waiting on the stuff to come in. I'm still up in the air about brakes, I can buy neuspeed rotors/lines w/ good pads for ~400 or get scene points and go with adams rotors ~800 (rotors, pads, lines).

Paul, I would love if you wanna help out. I'm not 100% on when everything will be here I'm guessing within the next week or two. I'll keep you updated.

Chan congrats on the new job, good thing you're loving it! I can't wait to get out of school and start making $$!

Even if Ahmed were to get the parts this weekend is no go. Darklord day takes over my life for the weekend and I am driving out to illinois to see gj on friday as long as they dont make me work.

your gti is a mk5 or is it a mk6?

And you will have to decide what works best for you, if they both have equal stopping power I would go with the cheaper ones and say efff the scene points.

Hopefully the 80 hour check this week nets me enough cash to pay off the truck. Then I will be banking whatever is left in my checking account at the end of each month. Still need to have some cash for beer and fun and projects though but should be building up a pretty good sum of money for in a year or two when I can buy a house.

Congrats on the new ride. I wish I had a back up camera it would make backing up to trailers easier when I am by myself.

I load up trailers by myself probably 50% of the time. I was thinking if I had a backup camera there would be less in and out of the truck to do it.

Keeping it in the family, in a not so creepy way.

Darklord day went well, 3 out of the 4 tickets I purchased won a darklord variant. 4 out of 4 of my friends won barrel aged darklord variants as well.
