ZOMG new roof is almost done which Jason & James know how bad we needed it so it's fackin awesome...but we couldn't run the a/c until they were done ripping the old roof off...which had 5 layers so it took most of the day but it's finally cooling down inside, it got up to 87 degrees inside the house

Paul, what brand of paint do you use when painting wheels up? I may just work on a bunch of stuff on the truck saturday morning.

I use either header or engine paint (depending what color I'm going with), it's much stronger so it doesn't chip and can withstand the heat from the brakes.

If you are painting the 20's I would scuff them a little with a fine steel wool and get a primer that will stick to plastic.

Also it's faster & easier to use index cards to put around the rim between the rim & tire to block overspray.

I also replaced a lower control arm and might go further and do a full timing belt job while I'm there.

You all need to quit complaining, I only get one off and that's tomorrow
But the boss personally asked me to come in and run some stuff cause I'm one of the only dependable ones in the whole shop. Kinda sad there's guys that have been there 20 yrs and I've only been there 3 months and I'm more dependable than they are.
