Well here I am again on my first weekend home from school cause it's my brother's birthday. Anyways, decided to spend the afternoon in the shop where I can just relax with some tunes and work on my car. This time I bring to you an HID conversion kit that I bought off of ebay. The kit is a 3000k kit which means the color output is yellowish (perfect for fogs to cut through any weather out there). I did put this kit in my foglights because I use them way more than my highbeams/brights and I already have OEM xenons in my low beams.
This project was not that difficult at all. I would reccomend it to almost anyone as long as you feel comfortable taking out your headlights/foglights and using all the tools and materials listed!
Enough with the formalities.
Tools:
Drill
5/8 drill bit (I used a wood bit, any should do)
Dremel and sanding drum attachment (needs to fit in 5/8 hole)
Screw driver w/ phillips head (for fogs) and torx bit (for headlights)
At least a 6" extension for torx bit to reach 3rd screw in headlights
Wire stripper/wire cutters
Silicone sealant (small tube)
Electric tapeOther Materials:
Wire connectors
HID conversion kit...duh..Ready to work..
First here are some before pictures...Once it gets dark here on the crazy west coast I'll put night shots up

the fogs go on without the headlights/parking lights via the headlight relay mod.here they are
3000k xenon fogs only:
3000k xenon fogs + 4300k projector xenons
both of them in your eye

Those fogs are awesome! You mentioned the headlight relay mod.. I have searched but cannot find a DIY guide. Is there one that you would be able to point me to? TIA!

go to audiworld.com and search the tech guide for the foglight mod. i think the title is 'controlling the fog light independantly from the headlights and the rear fog light"

Did you guys follow those directions exactly? It seems to make both the front and rear fogs turn on at the same time (w/o headlights). Wouldn't one be able to just do the mod for the fronts by jumping pin 17 to 14? Would this cause someother problem? Thanks again!

i just followed those directions exactly yes

where did you get those lights at?
