The time has come for me to sell my baby. It's a 2000 GTI 1.8t in satin silver.
I bought the car with 44,000 miles in stock form and am now the second owner. It now has 69,000 miles.
For the past 2 years, it has been an ongoing project with one goal in mind; to make the ultimate street car while maintaining stock-like driveability and having no reliability issues.. It was a goal that took alot of time and money, and now that I have achieved it, I am ready to start something new.
As an employee of TyrolSport Inc. in Queens, NY, I am confident that all work performed on this car is top notch, in both quality and craftsmenship and I know the next owner will agree. The owner of Tyrol Sport, Michael Pancheri and myself are the only ones to touch this car.
With the use of custom Unitronic software, this car runs flawlessly. It starts on the first try every morning and runs daily without a check engine light or single fault code. In my opinion the GT2871r turbo with .63a/r is the perfect street turbo, providing both quick spoolup and enough power to spin the tires in 2nd gear. I reach full boost just before 3600rpm and hold a steady 23psi to redline. The motor can take alot more power, but I did not build this car to be a dyno queen, I built it to enjoy it. The motor is strong enough for whatever you can give it. The bottom end is built with Crower Rods and Wiseco Pistons, keeping the stock compression of 9.5:1. This car is perfect for anyone who wants a great looking GTI, and the performance to walk away from most cars that approach it on the road.
The custom body work was done by JJ & MT of Queens. The car has recently been completely resprayed in satin silver and recieved a shaved rear emblem, badgeless 2 bar grille with notch filled in, shaved side markers on the bumper and the fenders, painted and smoothed front lip, painted and smoothed 4 motion rear valance.
The car has the perfect balance of show AND go.
      Asking Price: $17,000.
I am accepting all REASONABLE OFFERS. Please NO LOWBALLERS!
please pm me or email me at eim0420@aol.com with questions or interests.
pictures will be up soon, as well as a dyno sheet.

Got the car dyno'd, Not what I expected but Its still not tuned and running rich, They were out of 02 sensors so they couldnt tell me the air/fuel, I will be taking it back there for further tuning in the next week.

Found out that that the dyno chart is inaccurate due to the fact that the unitronic software was not designed for the dynojet dyno. Therefore, this car has more hp and torque than shown in the chart, Another dyno and tuning will be done in the upcoming month. Thx
