OK, This just in ....... Switched to Red Stripe now...... Only had one Aventinus for tonight, @ $3.85 a piece they are nice but expensive. So its on to a cheaper yet tasty alternative to continue the buzz.

    Accidental homemade cider.

I put a gallon jug of unpasteurized apple must in the fridge and forgot about it. Luckily the jug was plastic and didn't explode.

After four weeks the result is tart, mildly carbonated, with very little residual sweetness. I estimate alcohol content at ~2.5%/vol. Surprisingly good.

The main batch is in secondary fermentation in the basement. I will rerack a couple of times, and it should be ready for consumption around Thanksgiving.

Second beer I've tried (not tonight, just in general) from New Belgium. Much better than the last one, definitely good.

Heineken 24oz right now with lunch.

going to pint night tonight at a local pub. They have around 20 beers on draft and it's $2.25 a pint for everything.

    Herbal coffee.
    next is water.

Pint night reminds me of a local bar's Happy Hour. All draught beer is $2.00, and all domestic beer is $2.00. They have 20+/- beers on tap and about 100 domestic beers.

I'm still stuck at work, and I just had some stale Dads Root Beer that was left open on my desk from yesterday.
