I was going to order the stage 5 that the 700hp A&B corrado is running. It's pricey, but I don't want to **** with it again. It's an easier peddle feel too. If they can get me a good price on it I might jsut do that.

Or just go with another clutchnet, I don't know.

Why would you buy another piece of junk? The clutchnet already broke where your at, and you have a new turbo and cant help but have more power. Time for something better!

The 700 would almost certainly be fine for you. Even an FX400 might hold if you don't track it a lot.

My thing with DXD/Southbend is they always change their model numbers/names so you never know if what you will get will actually be what someone else had success with.

Even the FX400 has been beat to death at the dragstrip and Zach "might" make two track appearances a year so a race only clutch is really a waste. But I think the Clutchmasters FX500 is cheaper and rated higher them what he has now if he wants to keep that race feel

No joke, he found the car half submerged in a swamp somewhere did a little work and got in running and now just drives it all over the place with no doors and about 1/2" from the ground

lol clutchnet ratings... how did those work out? The FX500 is amongst the strongest single disk clutch and much more respected then clutchnet. Guys throw over 200 more hp then what your making now at it. Its not like your even putting load on it without real tires. Hell a FX300 would hold what your making now, I'd hold off on the twin disk until your ready to step up to the 700'ish hp level. Hell Kurtis couldnt even break a CM clutch and he beat the crap out of it all the time on slicks!

CM has been proven time and time again, which is the only reason why we are pushing you in that direction since almost all others have significantly higher failure rates

looking at FFE's site, the FX400 is good for 600whp, just get the steel FW

Not understanding the steel FW recommendation, I'm going to call and see what they say about that. If this can go up to 600whp this will work, although there is some warning about chatter.

i never had a single problem out of my clutch master clutch.

everyone i've ever met has had issues with spec or southbend clutches. Just my .02 cents but if you really worried about reliability joe has it right with the just buy a twin and call it done. put it in and forget about it. everyone running the day lights out of these cars is beating them on clutch master twin discs.

I know you already bought the plate clutch. Don't get a twin disk if you want stock type drivablitly. Granted i have a giant 1st gear the twin disk isnt the most fun on the street. And you will break more parts.

I've been calling around for the best price, least wait, etc... But right now its looking like I'm going to get an LSX 454ci block, Precision 285cc heads, and throw it all together at the shop. New engine alone should make what I'm making with the blower and probably more torque

I'm selling off a bunch of my current LS parts... doubt anyone here needs something but if you do, HOLLA!

Nope its been running perfect... I just broke a stub axle so while the car was down I decided to upgrade. They are machining my hubs to a larger spline so it shouldn't happen again.
